We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team and help us maintain our high level of service to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare daily journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare weekly payroll for the company's payroll department Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions Assist in month-end close process by preparing journal entries, entering data, and reviewing reports Assist in month-end close process by preparing checks, bank deposits, and other transactions Assist in month-end close process by preparing bank statements, invoices, and other documents for collection purposes Other duties as assigned by management Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting software (Microsoft Excel is a must) Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of general accounting practices including accounts receivable transactions and general ledger accounts.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to think analytically and solve problems independently.
